What is the difference between Consignment & Store Credit Trade?

Our Store Credit Trade program offers the customer the chance to bring in smaller items to sell (see list). The store will purchase items directly from the customer’s drop-off bag and the customer will receive store credit as soon as the bag is processed. The transaction is complete after the store buys from a bag. There is no waiting for items to sell from the store. Items brought in for consignment, will be inspected with the customer and if the store wants any items, they will be priced and put on consignment (this process usually takes 1-2 weeks depending on how many drop offs are ahead of the customer). The customer will receive 35-40% of the selling price once the item sells. You may use your credit at any time in store. However, payouts need to be requested by the 10th of the month and will be paid out on the 15th of the month, via check, PayPal or Venmo. Please see the How to Consign/Trade page for more details.

What sizes do you carry?

We carry NB-10 in clothes and size 0/3M - 3Y in shoes. 

What do you do with unsold items?

The consignor has the option to select pick up or donate when they drop off their items. Donated items will be given to Children's Resource Network. Items that aren't picked up within 5 days of being notified will also be donated.

 

Do items go on sale?

 

Yes, items do go on sale. We almost always have 1 tag color on sale, and sometimes 2.
